On 11-12 July Vilnius will host the biggest and most important event in Lithuania's history – the NATO Summit, where important decisions on the security of the Alliance as a whole will be made.

The fact that an event of this level is being held in Lithuania is a sign of confidence of our allies in Lithuania.

As in other countries that have hosted the Summit in the past, short traffic restrictions and other changes affecting the normal rhythm of life in the capital are expected. This will be done for security reasons. Residents and visitors of the capital are invited to get familiar with the restrictions in advance and to plan their travelling so as to minimise inconvenience.
